Jam Factory Apartment.
Sleek. Modern. Stylish
The story. Nestled in the heart of south London, The Jam Factory was the home of Hartley's Jam until it was converted into high-end residential apartments in 2003. Originally built in 1890, this award-winning industrial conversion oozes history and has retained its original charm in both its exterior and interior, with a towering chimney that still bears the Hartley name and desirable loft-style living spaces.
The job. Studi-O Edwards was commissioned by a young professional to convert their apartment into a modern and sleek space without losing its industrial roots.
The details. We utilised colours that complimented the exposed brick and embellished with bespoke furniture and joinery throughout.
The details. The use of energy-efficient decorative lighting added warmth and played to the apartment's industrial character.
